EAST BATON ROUGE PARISHES THROUGH 600 PM CDT
...

At 531 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Baker to near White Castle. Movement was
west at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. A gust to 49 mph was reported at
Baton Rouge Airport at 524 PM CDT.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Baton Rouge, Baker, Plaquemine, Port Allen, St. Gabriel, Addis,
Brusly, White Castle, Bayou Sorrel, Gardere, Carville, Brownfields,
and Baton Rouge Airport.

This includes the following Interstates...
Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 145 and 159.
Interstate 110 in Louisiana between mile markers 1 and 8.

illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
